Why the Jewish people living during Jesus Christ's time were perfectly innocent of the great loss that humanity suffered through His death

To say that the Jewish people during the time of Jesus Christ's crucifixion were guilty of the great loss humanity suffered through His death is to call Jesus Christ Himself a liar; but Christ never lied. He, being the only person who has ever or who shall ever live without spot nor blemish, committing no sin in His entire life, obviously includes that He never lied, also. Jesus said to God during His crucifixion, "forgive them for they know not what they do", and Christ proclaims in the Gospel that "there is no sin in ignorance". What follows is that all those who have contempt for the Jewish people for calling for Christ's death on the cross during His crucifixion are blasphemers against that same Jesus Christ; the only person that multitudes today call their only hope for the redemption from death itself.
