Perhaps it would now make for good US (and her friends), security policy, to design a reasoned and pragmatic law, under UN auspices, to allow Iran to, in fact, posses the straight of Hormuz, even charging tolls there legally under the very strict condition that they can never support, through arms deliveries or with financial support, aid for Hamas and Hezbollah. And, coincident with this, the allowing for the Houthi rebels and their many Yemeni supporters in Yemen to pragmatically allow the Houthi to form a strong political wing and not a lawless one, to become like Sinn Fein is as is to the history of Ireland concerning their transformation from beforehand being the Irish Republican Army, where their more moderate supporters having had become the principle political group in recent Irish history.
