Hamas,, Hezbollah, Iran, the Houthi, Israel and a Secure Future for Israel and the USA and Their Friends.
Perhaps it would now make for good US (and her friends), security policy, to design a reasoned and pragmatic law, under UN auspices, to allow Iran to, in fact, posses the straight of Hormuz, even charging tolls there legally under the very strict condition that they can never support, through arms deliveries or with financial support, aid for Hamas and Hezbollah. And, coincident with this, the allowing for the Houthi rebels and their many Yemeni supporters in Yemen to pragmatically allow the Houthi to form a strong political wing and not a lawless one, to become like Sinn Fein is as is to the history of Ireland concerning their transformation from beforehand being the Irish Republican Army, where their more moderate supporters having had become the principle political group in recent Irish history. This could be a wise project for the US and her allies to go about, whereby the Yemeni people freely choose for themselves what kind of leadership they want to have there, a Yemen for the Yemini people and under the very strict condition that they never attack Israel, or support Hamas or Hezbollah, and in that way, we can have a more secure Yemen to accept the Palestinian refugees in to live permantly there, in Yemen, perhaps Erirea as well. The US, sould, in return, concerning these new realities in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, if they were to be accomplished, can possess and own, under law, two Naval bases at the bottom chokehold of The Red Sea providing security of trade over that sea with US and thier allies security edifices that are secured, manned, and permanently resident there. So, the US, could, concerning these new perhaps possible future realities in the Persian Gulf and the Red Sea, can possess and own, under UN law, a toll ooth for shipping and enabling a more secure Red Sea. These ideas, if properly executed, would very likely be a win win for the most people concerned.
